I’ve already seen some great results even though it’s not even been a month since we started the execution of our content strategy built from Julia’s course.

I first got connected with Express Writers and Julia McCoy through #ContentWritingChat. I’ve known both her and the company for about two years now. When I heard that Express Writers and Julia were putting together the Content Strategy Certification Course, I was definitely interested.

I’ve shifted more of my efforts towards the content side as social has become a more crowded space. In my personal belief, I think content is only going to become more important in order to stand out.

That’s what this course really does an excellent job of doing, which is laying out a road map for people that want to do exactly that. This is a road map where you start from the beginning. You figure out what is your content differentiation factor, the thing that sets you apart from other businesses and allows you to stand out. Then from there the course shows you how to succeed in content marketing, and eventually put together an editorial calendar where you’ll be publishing on your blog or your website or wherever you’re trying to drive traffic, and achieve those business objectives that you’re looking to do.

That was my biggest problem coming into the course. I generally knew how content marketing worked. I know you can write a really great blog, and I had sort of an idea of what to do with SEO, but, this course is really great at explaining the tools you can use as far as achieving those objectives. Finding the keywords that people who are interested in businesses like yours are using to find your business. How to put together the content that’s going to rank well in the search engines so that yours is getting clicked on more. Therefore, you’re getting more interested clients and leads and ultimately you’ll see a growth in business.

I’ve already seen some great results even though it’s not even been a month since we started the execution of our content strategy. I’ve had a lot more leads. Definitely much more client inquiries. I’ve seen a huge rise in web traffic. It is a long term thing and they make no bones about it. Of course, Julia and the other instructors say that. These are good concepts that you really need to apply over time in order to be successful. They give you a great list of tools and resources and references in order to do that.

I would definitely recommend the course to somebody, especially a content marketer that might be struggling or somebody who is new to the world of content marketing. There’s a lot of information out there about it. This course is just great at bringing all the important aspects together and really giving you a sense of direction of where you’re going to take it. It doesn’t make any big promises, but it does give you the tools to succeed. I definitely think it would be useful for anybody who’s just starting out or maybe somebody who’s been involved for a while, but just might need a little bit more instruction to really get there to the top levels. I’ve been very happy with the course. I have all the guides printed out for reference. I use it every day. I’m very happy with the results I’ve seen thus far.
